This laboratory-based course is a preparation for the IB Biology Higher Level examination taken in May of Grade 12. The content and level of this program provide sound preparation for university courses requiring a biological qualification. The course topics include: Writing laboratory reports, Cells and Chemistry of life with extension to proteins and DNA structure, Digestion, Respiratory system, Circulatory system, Excretory system, Hormones, nerves and homeostasis, Muscles and movement and Defense against infectious diseases.
