A+ A A-

In this unit, students in Higher Level will move on do understand in more details of the structure of DNA, the nucleotides needed to make up DNA and to draw a simple molecular diagram of the DNA. Students will cover the central dogma of Biology which is Protein Synthesis involving the replication, transcription and translation process. Different proteins structures and types of enzymatic reactions will be learnt in more details.

Essential idea

The structure of DNA is ideally suited to its function.
